- All Americans are obese and eat too much and love to eat junk food all the time.
- All Americans are generous to others and have good sense of humor.
- Same like that many concepts and stereotypes are explained ahead.
One of the most popular stereotypes about Americans is that they are materialistic and worship to earn money Americans are business minded and well to do. They are extremely profit follower and judgmental for others on their economic statuses. They just love to build big houses, buy big cars and they want everything huge just for that they can show their money to others. American has a concept “bigger is better” so their life style is all about money.
Culture of violence:
America is one of those countries which is known for their violence as they has a craze of guns which is biggest reason of criminal image of Americans because the environment of America allows them to holds guns specially firearms with them. According to a survey in 2006, over 10,000 Americans died due to gun-related deaths actually Gun-related suicides happen more often than gun-related homicides. In 2010, the ratio was 1.75 to 1 and yet Americans have a perspective that other countries are more dangerous. Even Americans are highly arrogant and boastful by nature.

Even by a global standards it is stated that many events such as in 2004 South Asian tsunami (the relief efforts for which Americans privately gave more than 1.5 billion dollars) or Hurricane Katrina (to which Americans have most likely given 3.4 billion dollars). That is why its stereotyped that Americans are generous and kind towards humanity they not just invest their money on buy big things they used to help others too.
Low literacy rate:
However America is the first country to be on moon and put U.S. flag on the moon. They also left a sign on the moon but still their literacy rate is extremely low. Most of the Americans are school and college drop outs.
Another stereotype is that Americans consider that the entire world needs their help. They think they need military involvement and civilian fatalities. This stereotype was most likely produced from historical United States military interventions, which many people opposed. In other word the stereotype about Americans is that they “want to be the world’s policemen” and want to take over the control of whole world.
